Since 1994 more than 2,500 projects have benefited from HLF funding in the West Midlands, totalling over £283.5 million. Grants are available from £3,000 to multi-million pound awards.

The Development Team in the West Midlands provide free advice and support to all potential applicants to help you to develop your project ideas.
If you would like advice, you can complete our Pre application Form online. This optional short form will give the Development Team an outline of your project ideas. They will then contact you with advice on how to proceed.
Our monthly Funding Support Workshops are a good opportunity to find out more about our funding and talk to the team. Visit our Funding Support Workshops page to find our more.

Priority Development Areas
Are you based in Birmingham, East Staffordshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Tamworth or Walsall?
Do you have a project relating to the heritage of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities?
Do you work with young people? Find out more about Priority Development Areas and Groups.
We have identified a number of priority areas and groups that have benefited less from our funding in the past. These priorities will not receive automatic funding however we aim to work in these areas and with these groups to encourage and support them to apply for our funding. This does not mean that we will not fund other organisations from other areas.
